The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation tasked MyMobileLyfe with several digital initiatives building up to its Annual Legislative Conference (ALC), an event which culminated with its awards dinner that featured remarks from Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama. The CBCF needed to focus on important details related to the conference, and MyMobileLyfe was responsible for managing several CBCF web properties and promoting ALC events.
In the weeks leading up to ALC ’16, the CBCF asked MyMobileLyfe to develop and execute programmatic advertising campaigns across several networks in order to sell more ALC registration packages and tickets for individual events. On AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, we built advertising campaigns to reach users by location and their interest in ALC, politics, and issues facing the African American community. We optimized the CBCF’s advertising budget by using bidding strategies that resulted in the maximum engagement among viewers who would be most likely to attend ALC and its ticketed events. And we assembled the creative materials for the ads, from concise copy to eye-catching video slideshows. As a result, MyMobileLyfe helped the CBCF meet its sales goals for ALC registrations, and the ticketed events we had promoted were sold out.
In addition to our programmatic advertising campaigns, we managed the development and maintenance of the ALC ’16 mobile app and conference microsite. MyMobileLyfe coordinated with several departments inside the CBCF to ensure all desired functions and creative assets were incorporated into each of these projects. And we continue to manage the CBCF’s main website, even as preparations for the next ALC get underway.
